Preparations
General Instructions
- Come well rested before the health check.
- Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to appointment.
- Fast overnight for 10-12 hours (only water).
- Avoid heavy/fatty meals before check.
- Avoid exercise in the morning.
- Remove jewellery.
- No alcohol or nicotine 24 hours prior.
- Bring medical records and past test reports (last 2 years).
For Appointments & Billing
- Schedule appointment at least 2 days in advance.
- Confirmation call and pre-payment required.
- Carry valid Government ID.
- Corporate clients must carry authorization letter.
- Additional tests advised by doctor billed separately.
Instruction for Abdominal Ultrasound
- Requires full bladder and 4 hours fasting.
- Consume water before ultrasound.
- Do not eat or give urine sample before ultrasound.
Instructions for Tests/Investigations
- Carry all current medications.
- Diabetics should take medication with breakfast.
- PP blood sugar sample exactly 2 hours after breakfast.
- Do not take BP/Hypertension medicines 24 hours before Stress Echo/TMT unless advised.
- Renal Doppler requires 12 hours fasting.
- Avoid Calcium/multi-vitamin supplements 48 hours before DEXA scan.
- Avoid inhalers 24 hours before Spirometry/PFT (consult physician).
- Discontinue contact lenses 24 hours before appointment.
- Clean ear wax for Audiometry test.
- Inform reception if diabetic/cardiac/BP patient or recently ill.
- Include blood urea and serum creatinine report if CT angiogram is part of package.
Instructions for Cardiac Check Up
- Wear comfortable footwear or carry jogging shoes for treadmill test.
- Eat light snack before treadmill test if needed, avoid fatty food.
- Notify nurse/technician if under treatment.
- Male patients should shave chest before health check for easier electrode placement.
Duration of Health Check
- Health check process will take minimum 3-4 hours.
Post Health Check Consultation
- Reports ready within 24-48 hours.
- Collect reports from counter.
- Specialist doctor consultations arranged after reports are published.
For Women
- Book appointment about one week after last day of menstruation.
- If menstruating, inform nurses on arrival.
- Urine, stool, PAP-smear samples cannot be given during menstruation.
- Avoid X-rays, abdominal ultrasound, mammography, DEXA, and stress tests if pregnant or suspected pregnancy.
- Mammography advised only for women above 35 years or as per physician advice.
