The dermatologist deals with all the skin-related problems. The skin problems include acne, eczema, fungal infections, psoriasis, allergies, hair fall, skin pigmentation, etc.
The acne problems occur when the hair follicles get clogged with oil and dead skin cells. The acne problems include pimples, black dots, or white dots on the skin. The acne problems are treated by applying ointments or by taking medicines depending on the severity of the problems.
Hair fall problems occur due to stress, hormonal imbalances, nutritional imbalances, thyroid problems, or any other medical problems. If the hair fall problems are serious, then we need to see a doctor for further treatment.
Skin allergies occur due to the usage of cosmetics, food items, medicines, dust, or environmental factors. The skin allergies include itchy skin, skin redness, skin swelling, or skin rashes.
Eczema is a condition that causes dryness and itchiness in the skin. It can be managed by using moisturisers and avoiding certain factors that trigger the condition.
Fungal infections can occur in a warm and humid environment. The infection can occur in the feet, groin area, and in some cases, the skin. The infection can be treated by keeping the affected part clean and using antifungal medication. The infection can be treated effectively in this manner.
Any unusual growth in the skin that changes colour or starts to itch and ooze should be checked by a doctor. The doctor can check the growth and confirm whether it is a serious condition or not.
To maintain healthy skin, one should keep the skin clean and use sunscreen. One should also keep the body hydrated by drinking a lot of water and eating a balanced diet.
