Dr. Manoj Nagar led a session on sports injury management at a seminar celebrating National Sports Day

On National Sports Day, the Sports Authority of Regional Centre Bhopal, in collaboration with DSYW, hosted a Sports Science Seminar for athletes, coaches, and support staff. 

Dr. Manoj Nagar, Senior Consultant, Orthopaedic & Trauma Services at SMH, spoke on Coordinated and Customised Management of Sports Injuries, highlighting how athletes from the Sports Authority of India are treated through an athlete-centric approach — from surgery to continuous follow-up with coaches, physiotherapists, and sports experts. 

 Insights were also shared by Madan Lal Sharma (former Indian cricketer), Dr. Sanjana Kiran (renowned sports psychologist, ex-Olympic team psychologist), and Mr. Shashikant Bradwaj (Dope Control Officer, NADA). 

Chief Guest: Mr. Vishwas Sarang, Minister – Cooperation, Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh graced the occasion.
